Refactor policy controls the changes Iris Code may propose and the evidence it checks afterwards. Top-level policy is free and independent of scoring presets; language overrides require Iris Code Pro.

Configuration

Arrays replace inherited arrays. verify, destinations and packing merge by key. Config Studio exposes every shared policy field and lets Pro users edit language overrides. Resetting a language field restores inherited values; local destination paths remain in the repository.
Free users keep top-level refactor policy through its separate resolver. Language overrides are stripped with a warning. The accepted language keys are typescript, javascript, go, python, ruby, csharp, java and rust; Vue and Svelte use their declared script language. Malformed refactor policy is refused rather than silently replaced with defaults. Overview, fixes and suggestions, conventions, verification, configuration, agent integration, and language coverage.
